Upper EJ bowl launch is officially open. 3.5 min hike up from the road. I launched there today in the bag around 11:30 and quickly was 150' over. Conditions at launch were 2-8 with a 20-45 degree cross from the east. View from above confirms my thoughts that top landing a hanglider or paraglider would be EASY. SE winds aloft around 6-8 made it an upwind push to the tunnel tit where I still arrived 150' over the top. Climbed up there and connected to R&R-Cathedral-West Bowl-coco puffs where I landed with the rest of the Eagle crew. 1hr.7 min. Max alt. 4015'.
