Considering a run to the Nuthouse on Saturday. Big spread, light N wind at 3k. Any takers?

Meet time is 9:30 at the high school. Should be a good crew!

New general meet is 10 for most folks. I'll be rolling through the HS at 8:30 and heading up early.

Andy, Art, Brendan, Brendan's passenger Bradley, and I gathered at launch around 11. Art was off first, struggled and decked it. Andy popped off next and went straight up so we figured it should be doable. Brendan, in the first ever Nuthouse tandem and I ended up on the deck very quickly. Not sure where Andy ended up. Art is still chasing him down...

~ i got a lucky launch cycle and rode the nuthouse ridge eastbound w/ a nice W tailwind and good lift to Chiefs spine. I followed a vulture up to chief peak and flew on eastward without him/her. at Boyds i hit a convergence that lifted me over 6500. Crossing by St. Thomas my ground speed was nearing zero in the new E headwind but I had lots of altitude. I tried to sneak past Santa Paula ridge on bar but the East was cruel so I bailed to land @ the college... ~ interesting wind system 2day.

Am I the only one that got Poison Oak during that hike?!

Didn't you have poison oak around this time last year? LOL.

Dude I am a poison oak magnet.

I think last year it was inevitable considering we were crawling in it. I had gotten it pretty good also at that time.
